Great people, great product. If you're going somewhere else, Chenoa is probably better. They're that good. (Speaking for the farm or customer side)
Fantastic pie, really good lasagna. The burger was also a solid choice. The portions are quite large, and we'd definitely go again if we're in the area.
Quality clean and proper slaughter house. I use then often and have recommended them every opportunity I get.
Fantastic place. I had the lasagna. There was enough to feed two people. It was cheesy and tender. You can tell it's made fresh daily. The house made ranch is very good. Save room for the pie though, it was fantastic. My partner had the apple and said it was amazing. I had the lemon meringue, it was tart and creamy. The meringue adhered to the filling without the water layer between. The pastry was flaky and delicious. The only problem with the restaurant is it is nowhere close to where I live and I will likely never get to stop here again.
The portions at this restaurant are over-the-top generous! The workers there seem very happy and their boss is decent as far as I can see so it's a good environment. Yeah, as a customer I noticed these things.
We stop here twice every Thanksgiving week as we drive from Kansas City, MO to Kalamazoo, MI. Once on the way there and once on the way back. Service is always responsive and attentive while the food is delivered quickly. The food is good and the menu is extensive. We will continue to go back year after year.
